iTunes 11 not syncing media to iPhone

Last night all of a sudden my music and other media stopped syncing to my phone. The capacity bar showed 13.03GB of "Other" files. I restored my phone and deleted my iTunes library, in an attempt to fix this. My phone is STILL not syncing any media and now I have an phone with no music. I also tried un-clicking and clicking "Sync Music" but it is still not working. Is anybody else having this problem as well? :confused:
 
My 64GB iPhone 4S all of a sudden quit syncing my music as of a couple days ago which is really bumming me out. I've tried checking sync entire music library, and also checking all playlists and artists. Nothing will work. Help!

Also, I'm still on iOS 5.1.1, but surely that can't be a problem
 
no answer but i'll post here anyway:

i haven't been able to sync my phone with my macbook for at least a month now. it shows "waiting for changes to be applied" for hours (like over 30 hours straight.)
