I've recently got a new-ish 2012 MBP15, but I changed the OSX from Lion to ML10.8.5 because Lion isn't compatible with the new 2012 MBP. I used to have iTunes 10.6.3 (I think) for Lion 10.7.2 but now I have iTunes 11 which bothers me because I don't get the "rhythmic EQ" playing randomly in the center and other cool small touches.

Is there a way to downgrade to iTunes 10.7 on ML10.8.5? If so, what are steps to successfully to this? I know I saw an article here but I can't find it.

The 9,1 came with Lion. How is it not compatible? I'm typing on one right now and I can guarantee you it came with, and will run Lion.

Downgrading OS'es or iTunes version for such a useless feature seems a bit odd to me though.

My computer Mac guy who tried to install Lion said that the hardware wouldn't let him. He tried and tried.
