Hi,

I am still running Mavericks on my mid-2012 MBP because I won't have the time to set aside to back up my data and do the Yosemite upgrade for a little while, but I did download iTunes 12.0.1. I like it fine, but I am running into one really frustrating issue that I can't seem to fix—the top bar in iTunes where the Now Playing info (song name, artist, album, track length, etc.) for the currently playing song usually shows, is stuck on the Apple logo—even when I clearly and definitely have music playing! The only way I can get the current song info to show is if I switch to mini player, when everything suddenly shows up as normal. The now playing info also shows in the menu that appears if I right click on iTunes in the dock. But as soon as I exit out of mini player back to the full window, the Apple logo's the only thing I can see. It's like the music's playing in the background, or something. Everything else in iTunes is working fine; and if I right click on the top bar, I get a drop down menu with Pause, Get Info, Start Genius, etc., as if iTunes thinks I can see the now playing info, or something. I even tried reinstalling iTunes from the internet instead of through the App Store; still no dice. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, like I accidentally toggled something invisible, because I did some googling and no one else seems to be having this problem. Is this happening because I haven't upgraded to Yosemite yet and am running 12.0.1 on Mavericks???

Any help would be super appreciated as this is really stumping me and getting in the way of me enjoying 12.0.1...
Thanks!
