I posted this question on Apple Support, and though a few people indicated they had the same question, no one has come forth with a solution yet either, so I figured I'd ask this forum too.

I'm running the latest version of OS X El Capitan as well as the latest version of iTunes. Since the update, playlists in the sidebar have no longer been arranging themselves alphabetically. Normally, when you create a new playlist, it automatically places itself in the list alphabetically--now newer playlists just show up at the bottom and there is no way to custom arrange them.

Is this a glitch or a new feature or is just my computer? Anyone else notice this?

Well, I'm noticing that the playlists will appear in alphabetical order eventually, but only after iTunes is restarted. That seems like a glitch to me.
