iTunes 12.4 missing books

Hello,

i have the new iTunes 12.4
and now my books are missing.

where do i get my books?

if i go into the iTunes media folder, my books are all there, but not in iTunes.
and i do not have the iBooks app on my mac.

what do i do?

Back up your books to a safe place before downloading iBooks.
The app will snatch books out of your iTunes folder, change their names to numbers, and store them in some non human friendly place and format.
