iTunes 12.9 unable to update iCloud Library or turn off genius?

So for whatever reason iTunes 12.9 has decided that it won't update my iCloud Library anymore (I am a current Apple Music subscriber so no lapsed membership or anything). I get an alert telling me to turn off genius but where it directs has no such option. I can't find any other way to turn off genius. I have tried turning iCloud Library off and then on again but continue to get the same alert. Am I missing something obvious here or is something broken in iTunes?
