Since upgrading to iTunes 12, the Remote app periodically loses connection with iTunes, I physically have to go to my iMac to quit iTunes and restart it in order for the connection to be re-established.
I've tried to resolve the issue by signing out and in of Home sharing on both the Remote app and my iMac with no success.
I'm not sure if this is solely an iTunes issue, most likely Yosemeti.
I experiencing the same thing with Screens (VNC) and it appears that the connections are lost simultaneously.
I have two Apple TVs connected to the Remote app, they remain connected at all times.
Has anyone else experience this issue? My search has yielded no topics on this issue.
