Not sure if this is a bug or something I am doing wrong.

I have a Mac mini (running Yosemite) which houses my main iTunes library (iTunes 12.0.1). I purchase stuff from the iTunes store on this machine and download to this library. I also have iTunes Match turned on.

I have a Macbook Pro (Yosemite) and I use iTunes 12.0.1 and iTunes Match so I can listen to music.

Whenever I purchase something on my Mac Mini, it automatically starts downloading in iTunes on the Macbook Pro. I have very limited and slow broadband, so this is a real problem, especially with movies which can be 4.5GB in size.

In the iTunes prefs on both computers, under Store, ALL options are unchecked. Which means nothing purchased on one device should automatically download on another.

Am I doing something wrong? I'm so sick of my MBP trying to download EVERYTHING as soon as I open iTunes that I'm contemplating finding an alternative piece of software.
