Has iTunes 12 changed where it stores albums? If I enable 'Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized', iTunes is storing my albums under 'iTunes\iTunes Media' and not 'iTunes\iTunes Media\Music'. I know that Apple has changed the folder structure in the past, have they done it again?

Mine is Music > iTunes >iTunes Media > Music

I don't know if it's a bug with Yosemite/iTunes or just something strange with my library but it's trying to reorganize my 30K songs out of music and into the root iTunes Media folder. Oh well, disabling organization solves the problem for now.

Strange indeed. I don't think I have seen that happen before.

30K songs is a heck of a lot.

Happening to me with iTunes 12, too. Only noticed it for newly added music. Everything else remains in the proper /Music subfolder.

Is there a solution to this

Hi,

I've recently discovered the same issue. iTunes starts screewing my folder structure, moving all (Music, Audiobooks, Movies) to top level. Any fix to this, any experience/recommendation?
