So I'm setting up my iCal, and I create multiple events while making full use of the 'location' field. I then go to iTunes 4.8 to sync iCal with iPod. When I check out my calendars in iPod, there is no trace of the location field anywhere, which is a pretty critical piece of info in most cases.

Any thoughts on why this happens/whether I'm doing something wrong/is there a workaround?

I don't think it's ever been transferred to the iPod, even in the iSync days - I have no idea why not, it sucks.
I tend to append my iCal events with "@ location". This also helps when transferring to my Palm Tungsten.
That other stuff (Location, Attendees etc.) just doesn't seem to get transferred to anything. Kinda annoying really.
