itunes 4.9 and move to trash

Didn't really notice with 4.8 and tiger but with 4.9 and tiger, when I move a song to trash from within itunes, the trash can on the dock does not reflect it with the full can icon unless I open the trashcan. I can repeat it every time here with tiger on a powermac.

Anyone else seeing this and did anyone notice if it worked ok with 4.8?

I don't know about 4.8, but I just tried what you did, and I notice the same thing! Empty trash can until I open it to find out what's inside...

This has happened for as long as I can remember with OS X, with any programs that move files to the trash.
