Obvious fake. There are so many things wrong with this.

-Sheer legalities of this. Sony has so much invested into ATRAC and MagicGate, and Apple would never support it. The 2 technologies (ATRAC and AAC) are fundamentally incompatible.
-PSP already has a media player.
-Fonts are wrong.

Bottom line is you'll be seeing SonicStage for PSP before iTunes.

While iTunes on PSP or WindowsMobile might be too good to believe, if Sony and Apple have/have not stuck a deal (on Japan iTMS; their future) there is no telling what may happen. Not to mention that Sony has moved away from 'ATRAC only' on their last few Net-Walkmans or whatever they're called.

Conspiracy theory: iTunes on WM and PSP in showing up within 2 days of each other, sort of like the PPC to x86 transition being 'leaked' 3 days before the announcement. Nevermind, it's late and I'm under the influence. :D

I don't believe this. iTunes for PSP would be cool, and I wouldn't even be too surprised if it happened, but those pictures look fake. Especially the "help" screen. That screen looks VERY un-Apple.

one more thing,

why on earth would you have the spotlight-like search thingy when you can't use a keyboard to type the letters into it?

pity, would be funny :p

First off, I made this - it is indeed fake. The page was just put up for fun, and as an example of how easy it is to fake things like this.

You didn't read my fake "report" about iTunes PSP then - I said in it that you can use the built-in PSP text entry screen to enter text. While, obviously, this being fake, you CAN'T, there very much is a built-in PSP text entry system for doing just that. So the search very much could be real - I tried to make sure I only included things in the mock-ups that could actually happen on the PSP.

Did you just use screenshots?

llama :)

Pretty much. I took a few shots of iTunes, edited them down a bit so that they would look fully functioning on the PSP's screen, and them put them on the PSP as JPEG images.
