A thought just occurred to me. With the sale of the iPhone on June 29th will the current version of iTunes be able to support the iPhone or is an update required to a newer version? If so, do you think that Apple will pull a rabbit out of their hat and ... wait for it ... sell ringtones?! Think about it, it makes perfect sense for them to do it and they would make a killing on ringtones, truetones, you name it. So what you think? Version 7.3?

Not sure actually don't know what an iPod or iMac is either and I thought Apple was called Orange, silly me :)

The more popular iPhones are, the greater chance they will be available over here. Although this is not always the case: TV Shows on iTunes please!!

Gotcha, I knew you were really trying to sneak in another iPhone thread to add to the 450  already posted. The iTune thing was just a trojan. :)

Edit: I wonder if it would work in the Political forum? Something like, Iranian bloggers, persecuted... then a short segue into being able to post from their iPhones... and we're off.

I believe the current version has some of the coding to handle the iPhone, but if one is required, it would be a minor update like 7.0.1.

Makes sense, But considering At&t is in the ringtone business, it would be considered a backstab to them.

Don't be silly, we all know it's going to be iTunes 8.0. :D :p

With all the frontpage of Apple.com covering -only the iPhone, maybe they'll make iTunes to 8.0 :p no don't think so,

in the latest activation vid, there wasn't a tab for ringtones, so for now , no ringtones.

Hmmm....I think I should buy a lottery ticket(view my first post in this thread)...I'd settle for an iPhone and new imac with leopard please...
