hey, if you noticed, iTunes 7.5 now stores a backup of any iPod connected to it instead up only backing up iPhones. i was wondering, what do these backups contain, all your media or just contacts and bookmarks?

Well I would hope it doesn't backup music/videos. They are already on my MacBook, so I wouldn't want two copies of everything! Its probably bookmarks, contacts etc.
I deleted the back up as soon as I installed the new version of iTunes. From what I was reading if you restore with a previous version of the firmware, wipe the Touch clean and try and jailbreak again the backup will reinstall and not actually provide a clean restore.
