iTunes 7.7.1.11 sync issues anyone?

When I synced my iPhone with latest iTunes 7.7.1.11 it dropped most of my paid applications and songs. Hosed me over really bad, had to run a restore.

I wonder if some of the problems people are reporting with 2.0.1 firmware might really be with the latest iTunes software.
