Where is Apple getting the album art to help fill in the empty spots in my collection? It doesn't look like they are getting them from the iTunes Store to me.

Example 1:

http://www.amazon.com/Bigger-Better-Faster-More-Blondes/dp/B000001Y5D

Everybody who I know who ever owned this album knows it by the first two covers posted in Amazon. I've never seen the third one before. If you look on iTunes Store you'll notice the familiar Train cover. But when I told iTunes to grab the album artwork I got the alternate cover with the yellow flowery things.

I know that the song lengths I have are slightly different than the ones listed on iTunes. I don't know how or when that was introduced, but I ripped this album back on my Pentium 75.

Example 2.

http://www.amazon.com/ABBA-Gold-Greatest-Hits/dp/B000001DZO

Super simple album cover. But the version that iTunes grabbed has a less gold and more whitish-yellow colored text. The album art on the iTunes Store has a very rich gold color.

Again, the song lengths are slightly different than the ones listed on iTunes.

Obviously I just checked a few at the top of my alphabet. I thought the new Get Album Art feature would be great, but it doesn't look so.

Coverflow used to pull Album artwork from Amazon.com

Anybody know if the iTunes implementation is also based on that?
