iTunes 7 keeps opening in OSX

Hi, my friend is running 10.4.8, and her iTunes opens every time she quits it, even though nothing is attached that would open it, and she isn't downloading. Any ideas on how to stop it from opening? Thankx

Explain what you mean by "every time she quits".

She quits it,
it stays closed for several seconds,
and then it re- opens.

It doesn't sound like a login item issue then.

Repair permissions maybe? Worth a try...

I had this problem awhile back, and it turned out to be the program GimmeSomeTune. I would double check and make sure there's no programs like that running in the background or as a login process that wouldn't be visible but might be starting iTunes.
