I have an iMac g3 (450mghz, 512mb memory, running OSx 10.4) and I've been reticent to migrate to iTunes 7 because I'm not sure how it will perform on my machine. Also, I don't know what the advantages of v7 are. Am I missing out on any good features? Any suggestions?

Old Skool :apple:

I use it on my little imac- works fine, although coverflow is more than a little slow to respond. Wouldnt really reccomend the video playback either, but the store works fine as does audio playback.

As to advantages over v. 6 they are a little thin on the ground for g3 users, but its good to know you are using the latest version isnt it?

Happy old skool computing!

As long as you don't want coverflow or video it is fine.

It runs on a 266MHz G3 iMac.

Its been my experience that video on an iMac G3 is pretty pointless no matter what program your using.

But yes, iTunes runs ..great.. on the G3.
