iTunes 7 Volume Slider Issue

With iTunes 7 (for Windows), when I move the volume slider anywhere besides the maximum or minimum positions, the sound suddenly becomes very static-y and slightly distorted.

Anyone else having this issue?

Any suggestions?

Well, iTunes 7 has a lot of issues right now. I would expect a new version pretty soon. I can't reproduce your problem since I don't have a Windows box. Seems ok in Mac OSX.

Tried everything there. Still having the same problems. It's only scratchy and distorted when the slider is not at either the maximum or minimum positions.

buddy of mine has that issue on his peecee, but not his mac.
