iTunes 8.1 no longer announces song to MSN/Ventrilo

Halp.

It used to show what I was listening to on MSN Messenger, AIM, and Ventrilo. Now it shows nothing, and Ventrilo says iTunes is not found.

Anyone know how to fix this, or is my only option to dump 8.1 and go back to iTunes 8?
