ITunes 8 - Can i merge artists?

hi

as you can do with iphoto, when using the album covers grid, i'd like to merge artists. for example, instead of having elvis costello, elvis costello and the attractions etc etc i'd just like to have a single album cover indicate where all my elvis costello albums are. does anyone know how to do this please?

Edit the 'Album Artist' field, using 'Elvis Costello' for all entries.

You'd have to rename all the albums to be the same name so all those songs were grouped under one name.
