Hi Guys,

Before I installed the iTunes 8 update (or the one before) I could amend an MP3s ID3 tag manually using an application called MP3 Tagger (speeds things up). On completion I would simply click "GET INFO" and the updated ID3 tag info would be added to iTunes... Believe me i have spent ages doing this! ;(

For some reason "Get Info" no longer updates itunes with the updated ID3 info, any ideas why?

Work around is, delete, and re-add, this is no good though because you lose playing history, etc....

Any ideas why this has stopped working, or maybe there is a setting I am missing?

Cheers in advance,
Wayne

Although I'm not familiar with the program in question, I've always found that when you update the ID3 tag of a file it will update in iTunes when you play the song.
