itunes 8. made me re-authorize

I just downloaded the update, and it seems to operating fine and downloaded quickly.

But when I went to sync up some new cd's I'd ripped, it said the ipod wasn't authorized. So I re-authorized it, but it now shows another one of the authorizations used up.

Is there any way to get that back?
