Hello, I've never had a problem with iTunes so this is got me perplexed. WHen I launch iTunes on my iMac i5 I will get a little message saying iTune 9.1 is available, I will follow through click the upgrade button, download the installer and install. Everything appears to run run smoothly. I launch itunes after the install, check the version it's still at 9.0.3. What gives? I have an iPad coming soon and thought I would pre-download a few apps to help quench my iPad fever but cannot until I upgrade to 9.1.

Any thoughts?

Try downloading the iTunes installer from the Apple web site.

Drag the current iTunes from the Applications folder to the Trash.

Install iTunes from the installer you downloaded.

Hmmm... Guess what I followed your instructions now the 9.1 iTunes in my App folder won't run. Says "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes".

Thoughts?

As instructed by my iMac I reinstalled and had the same result. The corrupt message again.

Anyone?
