Itunes 9.2 update failed?

Now I have windows 7 but I thought this would be the best place to ask this question.

I recently updated itunes to the latest version but I cannot drag apps onto of each-other to make folders and I do not see an icon called books in the library section to which to put pdfs in. I have an Iphone 3g.

Now I was under the impression that with the new iphone os4 update you could read books on your iphone and I didn't read in the wiki that the ibook shelf wasn't coming to the iphone 3g so.....

any ways, I tried re-installing itunes to no avail. it sais its 9.2 but it doesn't have these features....

I assume this a mac thing only?

Do you have iOS 4? iTunes 9.2 ≠ iOS 4. Those features are not added by iTunes 9.2, just support for them.

NO well I was updating to OS4 for the 3g and then i got "invalid sim card" so now I have to go downtown and get Bell mobility to either fix it or give me a new sim card....

unless you guys know of a fix.
