He is moving from Vista to Windows 7 and needs some help.
He has his iTunes library with all the meta data on old PC and wants to move it to the new computer whilst keeping everything as it is.
How would you do this in iTunes 9?
He says:
So to sum it up all the music is on an external HD, and not copied into the iTunes media folder. But thats where the iTunes library is.
Maybe it'll help him get a mac

- iTunes manages the music automatically
- The iTunes folder location is the default My Documents
- BUT the music is all on an external hard drive
- AND the copy music to iTunes folder is NOT checked
So to sum it up all the music is on an external HD, and not copied into the iTunes media folder. But thats where the iTunes library is.
Maybe it'll help him get a mac
