itunes 9 lost all my content, settings?

For some reason when i upgraded to itunes 9 - it lost all my playlists etc- it doesnt recognize my ipod or phone either, saying they cannot be synced to 2 different libraries - what am I missing here?
 
Are you logged into the correct user account? Are your Desktop background, Documents folder, etc, exactly the way you left them before the software update?
