Itunes 9+ Problems when Syncing Iphone on SL

So, ever since Iphone 9.0, whenever I sync my Iphone, and disconnect it, it causes issues with SL; the computer becomes un-responsive, slow, hangs up, and programs don't want to work properly.
A restart fixes everything..

This ONLY seems to happen after a phone sync, NOT just using Itunes normally..Does anyone else notice this behavior?

It NEVER happened, in Leopard or SL, prior to Itunes 9..
