It doesn't seem as if iTunes 10 carries this feature, or something was changed that doesn't have this happen in default settings. Anything I can do about this?
I believe iTunes 9 only offered that option if the file was in the iTunes Media Folder (look in iTunes > Preferences > Advanced for the location). If the file is in a location outside the iTunes folder, I don't believe it offers the option to delete the file when you delete the item from the iTunes library.

Bingo! I was silly and temporarily moved some music into another folder outside of the iTunes Media Folder, and it figures that the music I deleted from the library were some of the specific songs I moved. Everything's perfect, much thanks!
