Hi, for some reason my Intel Mac Mini won't convert MP3's to AAC to fit them on my iPod shuffle. You know, the option "convert higher bitrate songs to aac" in iPod options... it just doesn't work. It says it's doing it, but then nothing happens, it just kinda hangs on the first song forever and never changes.

This happened on my Intel iMac I had before, but I dismissed that as just a problem with that particular computer, since it was so messed up overall. But this Mini has been flawless so far, except for this! The minute I turn off the conversion, it loads all the songs on my shuffle no problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for this?
