hi, i am trying to import some cd's onto my mac through itunes, but i get an error message on certain cd's that tells me i do not have enough access privileges. i can see in the file info that they are set as read only files and i cannot change them. is there a way to get round this?

cheers,
Stef

Try inserting one of the problematic CDs, go back into Finder when iTunes opens, and get info on the CD. Is the box "Ignore ownership on this volume" UNCHECKED? If it is, check it, then close the window and try again.

well in ownership and permission on the info on the cd, it only say that i can only read, nothing else, there are no other boxes. is there anything else i can do? this did not happen on my old itunes.

cheers,
Stefan
