Hi everyone,

This question actually goes for a friend of mine. Basically, can you sign up for an Apple ID without entering a credit card information? http://theappledaily.com/2008/08/04/create-free-itunes-account-without-credit-card/

But I've fail trying to reproduce this (By the way the location is in Thailand). Perhaps it only works in some country? Does anyone else have succeed or know how to do it?

This seemingly applies only to the "App"-Store", not the iTunes Store

"To create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card please follow the steps below. In order to create an account without a credit card, you must make sure you are in the App Store, not the iTunes Store."

Have you tried to purchase iTunes Giftcards a use this to pay for content?

I've been using my credit card. This account was for a friend of mine who didn't want to -use- his credit card for apparent reason.
