iTunes account?

hello, quick question...do you need an iTunes account to activate an iPod touch...and does it require giving them your credit card details?

You don't need an iTunes account to activate and iPod, and even if you if you do want to set up an account, you don't need to enter your CC details

Set up a free developer account and use that to log in.

lol...i've also got an iTunes giftcard which apparently makes things easier
