iTunes Acting Up

The past couple of days iTunes has been doing random things on its own.

Yesterday, it showed "Accessing iTunes Store" in the little box and showed the diagonal bars going, but it wasn't loading anything at all, and I had to restart iTunes to make it stop, it would not respond to me clicking on the stop button.

As I post this right now, it has the turning orange podcast downloading symbols next to all only one of my podcasts however it is not downloading anything.

What is wrong with iTunes?

Just try re-downloading and re-installing. Maybe a file got corrupted.. maybe not. Anyway, doing what I suggested above won't affect your music library.
