What do you mean?

The program, will wake your powerbook up and start an alarm, which is what you asked for isn't it?

Yes, but the problem now, is that it does not wake up my pb. i thought perhaps an battery-related issue, but can't see why that would make a difference. anyway, the alarm does work except for when my pb is asleep.

Silly comment - but you do know that your PB won't wake up if it's shut (unless connected to an external monitor)?

I use Aurora to get my MacBook to wake me up in the mornings

Did you go into settings and choose for it to wake the machine up from sleep?
