iTunes album art location?

Hey, I am trying to locate where iTunes stores the album art of an album. It is not in the song folder, at least not that i can see.

I use the AlbumArt widget to get the album art.

It works fine and I have no issues. I just cant seem to find where the art is stored at all. I would search for it but dont even know what the files would be called. The other thing I was thinking is that its all in a hidden folder somewhere.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. My aim is to delete the art. Thanks

The album art is stored in the song file. You can delete it from within iTunes (Get Info window).
