I do not remember this ever occurring prior to the latest verison of iTunes. I have gone through all of the Preferences and can't seem to find a way to disable this. Its kinda annoying. I would really, really like to turn this feature off if possile.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Please tell me there's a way. :)

Assuming you mean a popup window. This is activated by double-clicking artwork. Look in the bottom lefty corner for artwork related options.

Well it took me a long time to figure this out, but I finally nailed it. I noticed today that if I don't have QuickSilver running that I don't get the little screenpop. So I checked around in the settings and sure enough there is a checkbox that was set to Display Next Track info or something like that. After closing and reopening QS it worked like a charm.

Hope this helps someone else out there.
