I would like my album artworks to appear when a song plays in my car. However, my car radio only supports images up to 800x800 pixels.

A great number of my album artworks display nicely, but there are also a lot of them where the image might be bigger than 800x800 and thus won't display.

Is there an easy way to check all of my albums' artworks for the number of pixels so that I could easily see which ones are bigger than 800x800, or even those with (too) small artworks (say, less than 500x500)? It doesn't seem possible to check that from within iTunes, not even for a single artwork, so I'm hoping there could be an app that could do that?

Checking each and every one individually would be an extremely cumbersome task, as I have hundreds of albums.

There's some AppleScripts available:

This one will downsize them:

And this one will write it into a tag so you can make Smart Playlists to deal with them:

The two apps you suggested were really helpful, thanks again!

Do you happen to know a similar app that would group all my mp3s with bitrate less than 192 into a separate playlist in iTunes, much like the app above makes Smart Playlists for songs with artwork within certain pixel rate?

No problem.

The Smart Playlists feature in iTunes will match bitrates out of the box.
