Is there a way to generate a list your iTunes album?
Just the album names
For instance I have 66 audio books
Printing the album art isn't an option.
The problem is even worse for my music albums.

I'm sure there are easier methods, but I use Excel for things like this a lot.

  1. Open iTunes and select all your music with Command-A
  2. Command-C to copy
  3. Open a new Excel spreadsheet and Command-V to paste
  4. Delete all columns except the Album (or other desired field) column
  5. Click on the column letter heading at the top to select the whole column
  6. Data > Filter > Advanced Filter
  7. Click OK to the message about column labels
  8. List Range will already be populated from your column selection
  9. Click the icon to the right of Criteria Range, click the column letter heading, then click the icon again
  10. Check the box "Unique records only"
  11. Click OK
  12. Give it some time to process, depending on the size of your library. It took about 30 seconds for 20K songs.
  13. Click the resulting filtered column again and Command-C to copy
  14. Open a new worksheet and Command-V to paste
  15. You can now use the list of unique album names

In iTunes, choose File|Print. Then in the first section choose to print "Album list" and choose "List of albums" in the Theme dropdown box. You'll get a list of all albums with columns for the artist, album, number of items (tracks), and total time (duration).
