Hello folks!

I'm facing the case where I often will have to use photos and videos, sometimes audio files as well, as educational material and I'd love to keep this separate from my iTunes library on both my Mac and iPhone.

So I'm looking for something similar to iTunes that has a companion app for iOS as well (iPhone in my case, but I might be getting an iPad soon, so if there's just an iPad app, tell me anyways, it might be useful a little later on then)

What I'm not looking for is an iTunes alternative that syncs to iOS's stock media library (Music, Videos and Photos stock apps).

If the application can handle PDFs as well, even better!
(or a separate app?)

I'd love one unified app though, to sync stuff in one go.

I particularly do NOT want a cloud solution.

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

PS: Yes, I googled, but didn't find anything.

Hold option when starting iTunes to create and switch between multiple libraries.

This doesn't help me though. :(
I'd be stuck with syncing to iOS's stock apps then, which I specifically don't want. (mind you, it'd be separate on my Mac, but what about my iPhone, even if I could sync from two libraries to one iDevice, it'd be a joined mess on there...)

Besides I'm not a big fan of one app, two libraries most of the time, but that's not even the hinderance here. hmm

Why would you be stuck with the iOS stock apps? How would another program help here? No other programs can sync apps or iTunes/app store bought content but iTunes.

I do not want to sync such content.

I want to sync only a specific separate set of media files (audio, images and videos) that is NOT from the iTunes Store.
I want an app that has a companion app to sync to.

I want to keep this separate from all the stuff I already use iTunes and Music, Photos and Videos apps for.

Specific purpose = separate apps.
