itunes alternatives to add photos to my iphone

I posted a question similar to this in another section, but after over 100 views & no replies, I guess my question is too confusing, so I will ask it in a simpler way here.

I would use itunes, but it does not arrange the photos in the order I want them to appear.

So i have had to use iphoto to do this (for photo order).

can I sync an iphoto library through itunes?

Yes, once you arrange your photos in a specific folder using another program then you can point itunes to where the folder is saved and sync it over with itunes.
