Itunes and external hard drive?!

Hello all,

Well it happened. I ran out of room on my MacBook....I have an external HD and want to transfer my Movies from Itunes onto it. Is there a way that I can do this and still use Itunes to access them?

Sure. There is a setting in Preferences to set where your iTunes Library is located.

Yes, pretty easily:

1. Change your iTunes library location in the Preferences of iTunes to the external HD

2. Copy over your existing music located in your ~/Music/iTunes/ folder where ~ is your shortname to the external HD
