good afternoon, i currently store all my musc and movies for my iphone and ipad for the family on my dell POS...

when my new R-MBP arrives it only has 256 SSD.

is there a way to hve itunes run my library from the external westdigi passport HD?

Yes.

You can set it up in iTunes preferences. I keep my iTunes library on an external 500 gig HD on my mac mini,
