and now i cant edit my books.

how can i revert to the itunes that had access to my books?

I don't think you can in Mavericks since iBooks is part of the OS now.

Revert to Mountain Lion, which is what I am probably going to do after I take time (a day or 2 at most) to find out other things in Mavericks is a problem for me.
