Regarding iPod:
I know that if you format your iPod on a PC you can't use it on a Mac. Is there anyway you can reformat your ipod to work on both platforms?

Regarding iTunes:
I use it solely to play and organize my music now. I have all my music on and organized on a separate drive that's attached to a PC. If I reformat my PC how do I point it to my hdd with my music when it's already sorted. I'm not sure if that makes any sense but what I've always done when I download new music, I just drag it to the 'Music' in iTunes and it automatically copies and organizes it to my designated folder. I'm guessing I'll have to do some kind of import/export? Also would this work if I were to do this on a Mac?

When you're done formatting your drive you'll want to do an Import (File menu) and point it towards your XML file in your iTunes folder (should be in your iTunes music directory). All your settings and stats will be there.
