Hi there, I just recently purchased an imac and had my brother transfer all my music from his macbook to my imac. Everything was fine til i tried changing the tags and that's when I was denied access. I can't seem to change anything, no title, no artwork, no nothing which is really frustrating. I tried looking at the file and they seem to be 'read only' and changed some to 'read and write' but i still don't have access. not only that, but when i popped a cd with music and dragged it to itunes, it says that I don't have enough permission to do that. It's driving me mad i thought macs were easy to use? what is up with this?

Please help me out, thank you!

Find your iTunes music folder using Finder. After you do that, right click and select get info. Then change the permissions to Write/Read to your account.
