hey guys, i have a MacBook Pro and an iMac and i have all of my songs on my MacBook. As i do most of my work on my iMac, i don't have any songs on it so i don't waste any space, and i usually just plug in my iPod to listen to it through itunes.

here's the problem, like every 2mins, i get a message popping up saying:-

"the ipod 'Rob's iPod' cannot be updated. an unknown error occurred (-48)"

thing is, i'm not trying to update it, and it's bugging me as the little itunes logo keeps bouncing up and down on my dock, and also, if i leave it too long, i have to click OK on hundreds of them as they keep popping up!

the iPod is set to manual if that helps?

thanks guys
