iTunes -- any way to send Imixes or songs to another user?

By that I mean, purchase the songs for them...so when they sign on to iTunes on their computer an iMix or whatever will be waiting for them to download.

My girlfriend is across the country so rather than mail a CD of songs to her to cheer her up, I was wondering if there was some other way to do it digitally with iTunes or some other program.

Yes, find the CD you want and then click on "Gift This CD" this will send an email to your partners iTunes Account where they can download it.

I use it all the time to send my Nephew a few CD's
