Last Thursday I uploaded an update for my app, Glass Calculator. I changed several things, including what happens when the "clear" button is pressed. (before, it would still carry some numbers over if you had a bunch of numbers after the decimal.) It worked beautifully on both of my provisioned iPhones (4 + 3G), both running 4.2.1. I tested it for hours making sure it worked right. It went "in review" last night and was approved this morning.

I downloaded the app directly from the App Store on another iPhone 4 running 4.1 today. I tried it out, and everything worked fine... except the 'clear' button. It does clear the number, it just doesn't clear the UILabel. I then deleted my Xcode version of the app from both of my provisioned devices with 4.2.1 and the same thing happened. The clear button didn't work properly.

Does anyone know why this is? I reinstalled the most recent version of the app from Xcode again and it works like I want it to. I've just made some minor changes to the clear button and uploaded it to iTunes Connect. I'm hoping that maybe I just submitted a slightly older archive last time.

Is it possible that an app doesn't work the same way when you download it from the App Store than it does in Xcode?
