So since two days, my iTunes gives this weird font in the iTunes store/ App store and iBook Store.

a reboot and re-install of iTunes did not work.
Mavericks is freshly installed a few weeks back.

I asked around, nobody seems to have this. I do have over 400 fonts installed on this Macbook. But wasn't an issue before. And in no other App it is giving me this weird look.

Hope anyone has a solution and thanks a million for any help you can give me.

Update

Someone on the Apple Forums had the same issue.
The solution was actually quite simple.

You could turn off the user fonts in FontBook. But this could lead to not being able to use all the fonts in all the apps.

You can delete the font called "normal". On my Mac it was called: NORMAL_.otf
Maybe a rename would have done the trick. But I am not using this font anyways.

I have no clue why iTunes and the App Store would respond to this particular font. But deleting it makes your iTunes looks good again.
